January 17 – 21

This week’s theme is “Winnie the Pooh,” as National Pooh Day is January 18th.  On Wednesday and Thursday, please bring your favorite stuffed teddy bear or Pooh character to class to share with your friends.

In math, we will continue learning our geometric solids, as we focus on a cylinder this week.  For extra stickers, please bring an object shaped like a cylinder to class.

On the 19th, in addition to continuing with our theme of “Winnie the Pooh,” we will celebrate National Popcorn Day.

Also, starting this week, we will have a graph of the day on Mondays and Tuesdays.  When entering the class, please take your child to the graph, read the question, and have your child place their marker in the appropriate column.
