It’s back to school time! Here are some fun new twists on snacks for kids of all ages.
Cereal Treats: substitute a whole-grain cereal, like Cheerios, in your recipe for rice krispie treats.
Frozen S’mores: place a scoop of frozen yogurt between two graham crackers. Roll the edges in chocolate cups. Freeze until firm.
Banana Pops: cut a banana in 1/2 and insert a popsicle stick into each piece. Dip in melted chocolate and roll in sliced almonds or crushed peanuts for added protein.
Fruit Squares: spread PB on saltines. Top with thinly sliced strawberries or bananas and drizzle with honey (serve honey only to kids over 1 year of age).
