Mrs. Goodenough began teaching in 1999 after receiving her B.A. from UCSB and her M.Ed. from Pepperdine University. She taught 3rd – 6th grade in Newport Mesa Unified School District, as well as teaching English as a second language to high school and elementary school students in Japan. Mrs. Goodenough has training in differentiated instruction and believes that the best education meets the needs of all learners based on their individual, unique backgrounds, and learning styles. In her free time, Mrs. Goodenough enjoys spending time with her husband, their little girl, and their two black labs. She loves the beach, reading, hiking, and traveling.
Mrs. Gomber is our lead teacher. She has her BS Degree in Biology and received her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at California State University, Long Beach. She and her husband are parents to three energetic children (who have/are attending OC Tiny Tots), and she loves spending time with them at Disneyland, the beach, and camping. She also loves running, hiking, and reading, especially classic novels and Harry Potter.
Mrs. Macias will teaching im FV and NB. Born and raised in La Puente, Mrs. Mascias attended and graduated from Walnut High School. She worked in the veterinary field for several years (at animal hospitals, clinics, and as a manager at a diagnostic laboratory). She became a stay at home mother to her three, beautiful, and crazy kids 7 years ago. She enjoys spending time with her family at Disneyland, camping, and taking their rambunctious labrador puppy to the beach.
